Early in the 1980’s a small games shop called Wizards Den popped up in the Golden Acre Centre in the Cape Town Railway Station precinct. This little shop was the forerunner of all games shops in South Africa. Since then Wizards has gone through various incarnations and locations having at one time been represented by Wizards Books and Games in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. Recently there has been another name change.

We are now Wizards World, presently represented by this website as well as a bricks and mortar shop at the Cape Town Science Center, 370b, Observatory, Cape Town.
